On a number of conversations about games I’ve had with other people, I was told that the Battlefield franchise was a good series to play. So, I decided to check this one out to see how well it plays for myself.

While this isn’t the first instalment of this franchise, this is the first instalment to make it’s way to the Playstation 3. So, this is where our experience of this franchise starts off.

For those who have played this game, what did you think of this game? Was it an interesting instalment to this series? Did it change the franchise for the better or for worse for you? Do you prefer later instalments or is this a classic that really made this franchise worth trying?

For those who haven’t played this particular game, but other games in the franchise, what did you think of what you saw? Does it look very familiar to you or is it vastly different to what you’ve experienced in this franchise? Does it look like an interesting game to play or would you rather stick to later games in this series?
