Welcome to the 101st instalment of our first impression video series. Today, we are playing the Steam game, Half-Life: Blue Shift for the first time. You can check out the video directly on YouTube or in the embed below:

For those who might vaguely recall the very first video I uploaded, I wanted to play through both expansions of the original Half-Life game. Well, a lot of time has passed, but it has finally happened! This would be the second expansion finally played.

While the other expansion focuses on the perspective of the soldiers, this game focuses on the perspective of the security guards. In fact, you get to play as one in this one.

For those who have played this game, what did you think of it? Was it an excellent expansion to the original Half-Life game or did you find this one to be a bit too short (a criticism I heard a lot of)?

For those who haven’t played this expansion yet, but played other Half-Life games, does this look like an interesting one to play? Maybe you’ve been meaning to get to this one, but haven’t quite got to it yet? Or maybe it’s too old for your liking.

Finally, for those who haven’t played any of the Half-Life games, what did you think of the footage? Does this look like an interesting one to play or do you think other games would be more worth your time?
