Welcome to the 223rd instalment of our first impression video series. Today, we are playing the XBox One game, Dead Rising 3 for the first time. You can check out the video directly on YouTube or in the embed below:

This is one of those game franchises I’ve heard about, but never really played. I don’t know if playing the third instalment is a good entry point, but hey, sometimes you go in cold to a franchise in an unexpected entry.

So, this is yet another zombie game, apparently. In fact, this just so happens to be a rather dark franchise as I struggled to really see much of, well, anything. Still, this is what I got to experience right off the bat, so there is that.

I wanted to hear from you on this one, though. What are your thoughts on this game?

For those who have played this game, what did you think of this one? Was this a great zombie shooter game or were you left with disappointment with this one?

For those who have played other games, but not this one in particular, what are your thoughts on this game? Does this look like this might be an interesting one to play or do you think this is just one of those games to skip over for whatever reason?

Also, for those who have never played any of these games, did you have any thoughts on the footage you see here? I’m curious to know if you think this might be an interesting game to play or if you think that this just looks like a dime a dozen zombie games. Either way, let us know in the comments below!

This video is part of our first impression video series. Below is a list of 50 of the previously made first impression video’s we’ve made in the past:
