I got your nomination for this month. This month, you picked Yoshi’s Crafted World.
This is one of those games where I was going into this thinking that I was a little out of touch with what is going on in gaming. This is because I last played a Yoshi game on the N64. I also played the SNES title as well. In terms of following the series, I had lost touch since then. So, I didn’t exactly know what to expect in terms of gameplay or, well, how much has changed.
As it turned out, this game was actually a throwback to the older games, so I quickly realized that this game had a very familiar feel to it even though the years between the release of the games I played in the series was so great. As you can tell by the score that was publicly released, I ended up liking this one too. Would I say it’s the best game I’ve ever played? Not really. At the same time, you can to a LOT worse than this one, that’s for sure. I would say that it’s a good choice for a game to play.
