While I have played the latest Ratchet & Clank game, I’m still trying to explore more of the whole series. One of those entries in the series I hadn’t quite gotten to yet was Into the Nexus. Luckily, I was able to change that today and get my first impression of the game.

So far, this generally has the overall look and feel I’ve come to expect from one of these games within the confines of the system limitations. Honestly, though, it looks pretty solid for a game of its time. Since the mechanics of the game are, so far, pretty similar to what I’ve seen on other entries, I’d say this one has a lot of promise.

Of course, I wouldn’t mind hearing from you what your thoughts are on this game.

For those who have played this game, what did you think? Was this a really good entry into the series or did you find other games in the franchise to be more worth your while?

For those who haven’t played this game, but have played other games in the series, what did you think of what you saw? Does this look like a game you’d be totally into trying or does the idea of going that far back into the franchise seem like something you aren’t all that interested in doing?

Also, for those who haven’t played any of these games, what did you think of what you saw? Would you be interested in giving such a game a try or does the cartoon style make you think twice about trying this one? Let us know in the comments below!

This video is part of our first impression video series. Below is a list of 50 of the previously made first impression video’s we’ve made in the past:
