Welcome to the 93rd instalment of our first impression video series. Today, we are playing the PC/Steam game, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for the first time. You can check out the video directly on YouTube or in the embed below:

As mentioned in the video, for those of you who follow my video’s regularly, you might have noticed that I skipped Call of Duty 3 altogether. There is a simple reason for that. Call of Duty 3 is not available on Steam. It had a different publisher, so I suspect that this may have had something to do with this. Whatever the reason, though, the lack of availability means I moved on to the 4th instalment of this franchise.

For those of you who have played this game, what did you think of this game? Was it a great instalment to the franchise? Did it mark a major positive shift in the series or did you prefer the older games?

For those who have played other games in this franchise, but not this particular game, what did you think? Does this look like a rather familiar style of gameplay and strike you as something interesting to play or do you prefer some of the newer titles to this one?
