ZeroPaid Situation Deteriorates Further As Home Page Goes Offline

We’ve been actively monitoring the situation with famed filesharing news website ZeroPaid. Things recently took a turn for the worse as the last of the website has now gone offline.

We are now going into week 5 of the ZeroPaid downtime. Last week, we noted that, with the lack of anything new, the site’s future became uncertain. At that point in time, the only thing that was online was the home page. An HTTPS version of the homepage was also online, but largely broken.

As we were about to leave the story to move on to other things, a new development has occurred. Yesterday, we noticed that the home page was also offline. Instead, a Cloudflare version came in to take its place. This suggests that the server is now offline completely. We tested the only other page that showed any signs of life whatsoever and found out that the HTTPS version of the home page is now offline with no available cache. Another point of interest is the fact that the forums, through the cached page, still leads to a timeout error instead of a Cloudflare page.

So, what does this leave us with the site? For now, it looks like the only things that are left is a Cloudflare Cache and a domain name. This isn’t a whole lot left for a website. Given the length of the downtime for the rest of the site, there is certainly further reason to believe that the site may not come back.

We will continue to monitor the situation to see if anything changes any further. Still, it’s really not looking good for the site at this point.
