This review covers the psytrance track Quadra – Red Alert.
This particular track was released in 2006 on the album One Nation Under Trance.
The track starts off with a bunch of different sounds – very little to do with psytrance. Still, once it gets going, the psytrance portion quickly kicks in. Part way through is a quick breakdown, then a nice melody that evolves for a bit.
I think the large amount of variety throughout this track was a major positive in this track. Some of the variety, though, did make it difficult to hear how it all congealed nicely into a single track. While it the track isn’t necessarily clunky, it was sort of getting close to the line at times.
Still, in spite of this, I thought this was a very good track to listen to. Another enjoyable track overall.
