Review: MRSA – Chemicals (Drum N Bass) Drew Wilson | December 21, 2016 This review covers the liquid drum n bass track MRSA – Chemicals. This track was released in 2010 on the compilation album Sick Music 2. We previously reviewed another track found on this album which was Muffler – Pinball Fantasies (Remix). The track got a great score. The track does start slow with the bringing in of a short looping melody. Then, a 303-like synth is brought in which does make the track sound pretty good. The chopped vocals also gradually makes an appearance. This element also helped make this track stand out and was a welcome element in this track. The bassline was OK, but, for the most part, pretty par for the course for a drum n bass track. The breakdown in this track was pretty well done and the build-up also worked pretty well. Generally speaking, this track doesn’t necessarily commit to any particular emotion necessarily, but if you just want the sound of drum n bass, this track certainly works to fill a void. A Pretty good track overall. Score 7/10 Drew Wilson on Twitter: @icecube85 and Google+.
