Review: Nitrous Oxide – Aurora (Original Mix) (Trance) Drew Wilson | July 8, 2015 This review covers the progressive trance track Nitrous Oxide – Aurora (Original Mix). This track was released in 2009 along with a remix. One prominent feature of this track is the synthetic string throughout. I thought this did a good job at pushing the image of an actual aurora. The overall melody wasn’t bad. It was lightly sprinkled in throughout the track in general. It was not super amazing, but it wasn’t bad either. One critique I would give this track was that there wasn’t a whole lot that really elevated this track from being a good track to a memorable great track. There wasn’t any one thing particularly wrong with this track, but there wasn’t a whole lot that gave this track that wow factor. Still, I thought this was a good track. There was nice atmospherics going on in this track. The melody added some good texture to the overall track. So, a good listening experience.
