Review: Mr. Kitty – Heaven (Synth-Pop) Drew Wilson | January 25, 2017 This review covers the synth-pop track Mr. Kitty – Heaven. This track was released in 2013 on the album Life. Previously, we reviewed another track on this album called Years and it received a very good review. The track does start with a choir solo. It’s probably the only part I was unsure about this track. I thought these sections may have been laid on a little thick. It utilizes an interesting swing rhythm through the synth chords. The rhythm worked quite well as far as I’m concerned. The vocals was very well done. They made the lyrics easy to understand. The lyrics were definitely a pleasant element in this track. The main melody also worked quite well in this track. It added both to the overall sound nicely and it reflected the swing chords. The melody made some appearances, but it drifted in and out of prominence. Surprisingly, it worked quite well. Overall, this was a pretty good track to listen to. Besides the heavy choirs, there wasn’t really much to complain about here. It gets a thumbs up from me.
