Review: Logistics – The Trip (Liquid Drum N Bass)

By Drew Wilson

This review covers the liquid Drum N Bass track Logistics – The Trip.

This track was released in 2005 along with the track CLS + Wax – Quite Perfect.

This track is definitely one of those more laid back tunes where all you want to do is just kick back and relax as you listen the tune. It has an audio sample of origins I’m not clear on, but it’s simply one element in this track that mixes a lot of sound together into a nicely produced finished product.

This is one of the tracks that really got me into Drum and bass in the first place. Before hearing songs by producers like Logistics, Sub Focus, DJ Fresh, and the like, I was not really familiar with much outside of mainstream rock and the occasional trance track by Darude. So, thanks to the wonders of the internet, I can have a better chance to listen to good music like this.

As for this track, it’s a great example of Drum N Bass music. Quite enjoyable.

Score

8/10
