Review: In-Panic – Bass Solidy (PsyTrance)

By Drew Wilson

This review covers the PsyTrance track: In-Panic – Bass Solidy. It is a track found on the Step By Step album.

This track was released as part of the Step By Step album in 2009.

This track uses chopped samples and features a progressive melody throughout. While it does follow along with the tradition of distorted meaning that is often found in Psytrance, there is an overall harmonic vibe that energizes the track throughout found mostly in the bassline. In this track, other elements boosts that vibe as well including the strong melody.

What I like about this track is the harder feel to it. This is the kind of track I would want to play while working on something creative. Most tracks with lyrics tends to distract me while I’m working, but this is one of the exceptions. Overall, I think In-Panic really hit it out of the park on this one. A great track to be sure.
