Review: Inertia – The System (Tyas & Colontonio Mix) (Progressive Trance) Drew Wilson | February 18, 2015 This review covers the progressive trance track, Inertia – The System (Tyas & Colontonio Mix). This track was released in 2008 as part of a single of mixes. One distinct feature is the main melody in this track. While the melody was interesting, what makes it really neat is that it constantly evolves throughout. the evolution is not just in the variation of the notes, but also the effects that encapsulates it. Towards the end of the main melody is an added extra melody that just takes this track over the top. It’s not overly complex, but it adds so much depth to this track. The effects that fill this track were a major strength in this track. It wasn’t there just to fill space, but it aided the constantly evolving melody throughout. That, I thought, was excellent. Overall, I really found nothing to complain about this track. This is definitely an example of an excellent trance track. Highly recommended.
