Review: Illusion of Light – Come to Me (Synth-Pop) Drew Wilson | December 16, 2015 This review covers the synth-pop track Illusion of Light – Come to Me. This track was released in 2011 on the Skylight album. One of the interesting elements of this track is the fact that there are both male and female vocals throughout the track. This can produce an interesting dynamic sound-wise and this track is no exception. I thought this dynamic worked quite well in this track. The synthetic elements were nicely done. I thought that this helped add a good degree of quality to the track. The slower tempo was an interesting aspect of the track. It is both upbeat and slow without sounding hip-hop, rap, or retro. Overall, this is a pretty good track. It has a great dynamic between male and female vocals. The melody is pretty good. The synth effects work quite well. This track definitely receives my approval.
