Review: DJ Piwi – Fly Away (Gabber Hardcore) Drew Wilson | April 8, 2015 This review covers the gabber hardcore track DJ Piwi – Fly Away. This track was released in 2008 as a single. One thing that features prominently is the feelings of inward disintegration and personal corruption. This is definitely reflected in the lyrics – and quite effectively so. Another great part of this track is the overall melody throughout. I thought this added a great dimension to the track overall. I also thought that the chopped voice sample in the beginning added a nice degree of creativity as it is not only chopped, but time warped and mangled as well. It all actually worked surprisingly well. Overall, this track did an excellent job at conveying emotion. The melody and chopped vocals added dimension and creativity to the overall listening experience. A great track to listen to. Score 8/10 Drew Wilson on Twitter: @icecube85 and Google+.
