Review: DJ Eco – Borealis (Original Mix) (Trance) Drew Wilson | June 8, 2015 This review covers the progressive trance track DJ Eco – Borealis. This track was released in 2009 as part of an EP with a small set of remixes. One thing that is natural enough for trance to do is use space as a source of inspiration. This track is one of a long line of examples of trance tracks with something from space as, say, part of a title. One of the strengths of this track is the main melody backed by a great buildup in effects. I thought the side chain effect was also nicely done, though it may have a slight pumping effect when the volume is cranked. The flow of this track was nicely done. There was a great buildup, nice climax, and great breakdowns. Overall, I felt that this was an enjoyable track. Nothing to really complain about in this one, so a definite recommended track.
