Review: Corderoy vs. Filo & Peri feat. Aruna – Ashley’s Guitar (Mike Wind & Arctic Moon Mashup) (Trance)

This review covers the progressive trance track Corderoy vs. Filo & Peri feat. Aruna – Ashley’s Guitar (Mike Wind & Arctic Moon Mashup).

It’s unclear exactly when this track was released, but it is likely to have been heard around in 2010.

The track starts off with some interesting synth’s. It gives the track a nice energy. When the bassline hits, the energy is more pronounced and makes this a nice high energy track.

When the vocals hit, that’s when the quality really comes through. The quality is especially pronounced when the vocals hit the main chorus. That is really one of the most amazing parts of the track.

When the breakdown hits, the vocals return and is backed by piano. That’s where the track becomes rather emotional. The electric guitar helps bring this forward. The build-up of that and the synths work quite well.

After the buildup, a main melody hits. It’s pretty good in and of itself. The electric guitar is a pretty nice touch in this part. The vocals then lead the track out.

While there is some amazing elements, I wished there was a second portion of the main chorus to hit somewhere on the second part of the track. As it stands now, the track’s first part is excellent, and the second part is pretty good. As a result, the track ends up being somewhat anti-climactic.

Still, there is a lot to like in this track. It has some amazing vocals and great electric guitar elements. The piano elements help give this track a nice emotional grounding as well. A great track all around.
