Review: Akesson – Flavour Park (Original Mix) (Trance) Drew Wilson | January 4, 2017 This review covers the progressive trance track Akesson – Flavour Park (Original Mix). This track was released in 2009 as a single along with the track Without You. One great element about this track was definitely the bassline. The bassline of this track really adds a certain element of power. Another great part of this track is the plucked melody. While it’s the first melody that appears, it’s sort of a sub-melody in this track which adds a rather pristine element. The main melody on this track appears shortly after the sub-melody. While it has a certain degree of simplicity to it, it works incredibly well. The side-chained pads and choir sounds was a very nice touch as well. The re-introduction of the sub-melody of this track was a very nice touch before the final breakdown. Overall, this is a really catchy track. A great melody, nice sub-melody, nice bassline, and numerous other elements all come together to produce a very well done track. A definite recommendation from me.
