In this video, I check out another instalment to the Call of Duty franchise. This time, it is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III. I’m, once again, going a little bit out of order as the last Call of duty game I played was Modern Warfare II. People knowledgeable in the Call of Duty franchise will know that I have skipped ahead by one game – and those people would be correct.

The original plan was to play Call of Duty: Black Ops today. Unfortunately, I ran into a problem. When I put in the game, the game wouldn’t go past the intro screen. I did some investigation into why it is doing this and it looks like it was the result of a badly scratched up game disc. So, I had to improvise a little and just skip to the next Call of Duty game. It looks like it is running fine this time, so that’s something at least. I guess one was of looking at this is that I’m basically playing the Modern Warfare franchise in a better order at least, so maybe it was a happy accidental situation? Don’t know.

At any rate, the plan is to try and get a good copy of Black Ops at some point and try playing that one at a future time. The challenge for me is to actually be looking for this replacement disc is all. Hopefully, this is something I can do soon.

For those of you who have played this game, what did you think of it? Was it a great game that was certainly enjoyable or do you think that Call of Duty fatigue is setting in at this point and you’d rather play something else?

For those who haven’t played this game, but others in the franchise, does this look like an interesting game to play or is it a bit too old for your taste at this point?

Also, for those who haven’t played these games at all, does this look like a game you’d be interested in playing or does this look like an all too generic FPS game to you? Let us know in the comments below!
