Review: X0-000 – Sunset Groove (Progressive House)

This review covers the progressive house track X0-000 – Sunset Groove.

This track was released in 2006 online for free.

A prominent feature of this track is definitely the piano. While not exactly the classical piano sound, it does make this track work really well. It has a sort of filtered sound to it that helps give it its own personality.

Another great element of this track is the overall flow. I liked how there were numerous elements thrown in that helped keep this track interesting from beginning to end.

Another great element was the aggressive pads that were thrown in. This really helped give this track a great presence, giving a sort of over the top feel to it.

The only real downside of this track was that some elements may have been drawn out a bit too much at times. Still, this was a minor quibble on my part more than anything else.

In spite of the moments where the track gets a little drawn out, this is still a great track to listen to. It had great presence, great flow, and great piano. So, a definite thumbs up from me.
