Review: Sub Focus – Airplane (Drum N Bass) Drew Wilson | June 22, 2015 This review covers the drum n bass track Sub Focus – Airplane. This track was released in 2006 along with the track Flamenco. This is one of those tracks that is exactly what it says on the tin: a track about an airplane. I thought the voice sample was excellently done. It not only added a lot to the track, but it also sounds exactly like an airport. The bass guitar was another element that added a lot to the track. It gave this track a nice edge. The synth that has some similarities to a 303 works really well in adding a little extra to the melody throughout this track. The strings throughout the track added an exclamation to an already great track. The overall effects also helped elevate this track. The airplane sounds in this track was just that cherry on top of an already excellent track. Overall, this track was creative, excellent, and effective. It’s simply gold and a must listen if you are just getting into drum n bass in my opinion. Brilliant track. Score 9/10 Drew Wilson on Twitter: @icecube85 and Google+.
