Review: Psycraft – Borderline (Remix) (Psytrance) Drew Wilson | April 20, 2016 This review covers the psytrance track Psycraft – Borderline (Remix). This track was released in 2005 and was a remix of a track by Brad Sucks. One of the great elements was the very eclectic guitar sounds you get throughout the track. Sometimes it has a very acoustic sound while other times, they have a definite electric chord sound that really drove this track. I thought that part of the track was great. The vocals also added a lot to the track. The main chorus was nicely done. The filtered and chopped sounds that are sprinkled throughout the track in such a way that it kept things interesting. It even gave the overall tack a rather interesting flow. The way the rock elements were fused within this psychadelic track was very nicely done. I know it can be difficult to fuse two genre’s with sometimes very different sounds, but I thought this fusion in this case was quite successful. My only gripe with this track was that, at times, the track grew a little too minimalistic. It’s good to get that dynamic range within the sound of a track, but I thought there might have been a bit too much of it at times. Overall, I thought this was quite a good track. Definitely worth listening to. Score 7.5/10 Drew Wilson on Twitter: @icecube85 and Google+.
