Review: OceanLab Vs. Mike Shiver – If I Could Fly On The Surface (Alex M.O.R.P.H. Remix) (Daniel Kandi Mashup) (Trance) Drew Wilson | May 2, 2018 This review covers the progressive trance track OceanLab Vs. Mike Shiver – If I Could Fly On The Surface (Alex M.O.R.P.H. Remix) (Daniel Kandi Mashup). This track was released in 2010. One great element is the lyrical vocals at the beginning. It sets up the track nicely as a pleasant track. Another great element in this track is the non-lyrical vocal elements. This occurs right when the drop hits. It not only compliments the lyrics that set up this sound, but also enhances the overall mood of the track. The general melody that comes after is pretty good. It does a decent job at balancing out the vocal portions. The buildup, however, sets up the next portion of vocals very well. A secondary melody plays under the vocal portions. That works very well to compliment the vocals. A sort of third melody is heard later on which allows the track to hit a nice climax. Probably the only complaint about this track is that the track just suddenly breaks down after. It does jar the nice flow this track has a little, but not too severely. Overall, this is a very good track. The pleasant vibes is definitely worth a listen. Score 7.5/10 Drew Wilson on Twitter: @icecube85 and Google+.
