Review: Mr. Kitty – Years (Synth-Pop) Drew Wilson | September 7, 2015 This review covers the synth-pop track Mr. Kitty – Years. This track was released in 2013 on the album Life. One excellent feature of this track is that there is the dynamic male and female vocals. They bounce back and forth trading portions of lyrics. I thought this added a heck of a lot of value to the track. The overall melody in this track was also very nicely done and worked well with the vocals. The flow of this track worked very well. The track had a nice break down and build up. One of my criticisms of this track was that it’s hard to hear what the female vocals were saying as half of the lyrics were inaudible. This doesn’t detract a whole lot from the overall listening experience, but it was a little bit annoying not being able to understand some of the lyrics. Another criticism of this track I have was that it was just too short. I wished there was more of this track than the simple three and a half minutes here. Ultimately, this was an impressive track to listen to. It had great and dynamic vocals, great synths, and excellent flow. A highly enjoyable track to say the least.
