This review covers the progressive trance track Motionchild & Will Holland feat. Tiff Lacey – Arctic Kiss (Andy Blueman Instrumental Remix).
This track was released in 2010 along with three other versions.
The track starts with some general synth. This gives the track some general rhythm and energy. There is some general vocal samples that are added from time to time. This gives the track a hint of an angelic sound.
After a little bit, there is the gradual addition of a piano element. Eventually, there is a secondary piano element that compliments the more subtle piano. The layered piano certainly gives the track an interesting sound.
When the breakdown hits, the piano is mostly what is left behind. There is the addition of a few vocal samples that was heard earlier. The wind instrument, however, really enhances the quality of the sound. The piano mixed with the wind and vocal samples is a joy to hear. The backing of some general pads really gives the track a nice environment.
When the buildup starts, there is the addition of another synth with a mix of piano. As the energy starts to return to the track, the main melody is nicely punctuated. As the main track takes hold, all of the elements are brought together nicely. It is tied together with a nice main melody. The uplifting feelings found throughout the track is great.
I can’t honestly think of anything that throws me off with this track. It has such great energy and emotion. The light orchestral elements works so well with this track.
Overall, this is a great track to listen to. The wind instruments, voice samples and piano work so well together. The various synth melodies and pads that is layered together works very well. With such great emotion and sound, you really can’t go wrong with a track like this. A great track all around.
