Review: Matrix & Futurebound Feat. Baby Blue – Magnetic Eyes (Radio Edit) (Drum N Bass) Drew Wilson | February 19, 2018 This review covers the liquid drum n bass track Matrix & Futurebound Feat. Baby Blue – Magnetic Eyes (Radio Edit). This track was released in 2012 along with four other versions. A major component of this track is the vocals. They add quite a lot of quality to the track. The lyrics work quite well here because they talk about personal attraction (as the title might suggest. The interesting part is the fact that there is a rap solo in the middle. It was decent enough. Was it amazing? I’m not so sure on that, but it did add some variety to the track. Meanwhile, the chords add a refreshing sound to the overall track. It really wakes up the track and gives the track a nice energy. The melodies take both a back seat and front seat in this track. The basic 303 sound give the track a nice texture throughout. There is also a solo part where there is a sort of sliding melody that breaks up the track nicely. It really elevated the track. Overall, this was a very good track. It has nice fresh sounding chords, nicely done vocals, and some nice melodies throughout. While a little on the short side, it still packs a sizeable punch. Definitely deserving of the positive review here. Score 7.5/10 Drew Wilson on Twitter: @icecube85 and Google+.
