Review: Catscan – My First Response (Hardcore)

This review covers the track Catscan – My First Response.

This particular track was released in 2007 along with three other tracks.

One thing that immediately jumps out in this track is that this is not your standard hardcore track. It’s not happy hardcore by any stretch of the imagination, but it does have a fun vibe to it throughout.

I think what really makes this track work is the vocal talent that has been chopped into this track. The melody, however, gives this track a nice punch. The standard hardcore sound and effects thrown in wraps up this track nicely into something full of emotion and surprisingly approachable.

Overall, I wish I knew more tracks that had this kind of style. It is a personal favorite in the hardcore genre for me.
