Review: Bomfunk MC’s – Uprocking Beats (JS16 Radio Mix) (Breakbeat)

This review covers the breakbeat track Bomfunk MC’s – Uprocking Beats (JS16 Radio Mix).

This track was released in 1998 as a single along with three other versions.

One feature in this track is the lead melody. It takes a slightly different production style in that it not only utilizes a 303 sound, but also some automated filtering that is constantly evolving throughout the track in a less than predictable way. As a result, the track has a very fluid sound that works quite well.

The way the bassline and the synth string backed it really enhances the lead melody’s sound. It worked quite well.

This track also infuses hip-hop style vocals. The way they were laid out in the track was nicely done. They also added a different sound to the track that balances everything out nicely. Overall, a well done effort.

Overall, this was a great track. The track has a nice 303 sound that was automated in such a way as to give the track a very fluid sound. The hip hop vocals also gave this track a nice sound that balances everything out. A great track that gets a thumbs up from me.

Overall
8/10
