Review: Alpha Point – Things I Do (Future Invasion Mix By Technomancer) (Synth-Pop) Drew Wilson | February 22, 2016 This review covers the synth-pop track Alpha Point – Things I Do (Future Invasion Mix By Technomancer) This track was released in 2010 on the Alive EP. One great element in this track was the vocals. They manage to make lyrics that would otherwise take a bit to figure out sound really catchy. The main melody does loosely mirror the vocals, but it works quite well. The synthetic strings used were definitely effective in rounding out the track nicely. The structure of the track also works quite well. I like the way it evolved throughout. I would have definitely given this track an 8, but there is one element preventing my from doing so far: the main kick. In some parts of this track, it works quite well, but in other parts (like the quieter portions of the verse), it seems overpowering to me. If the kick was backed off in some parts of the track, then this track would leave me with no complaints. Still, this was a very good track to listen to in my opinion. Totally worth listening to if you ask me. Score 7.5/10 Drew Wilson on Twitter: @icecube85 and Google+.
