Freezenet is expanding the accessibility of the official podcast. It is now possible to listen to the Freezenet official podcast via Spotify.
Yesterday, we talked about how we’ve enabled Cloudflare on Freezenet to help give the site a performance boost. If you thought that this is all of the updates we are going to be giving to the site recently, well, nope. In actuality, we had something else planned for this round of website improvements.
Before now, you could only get our podcast on either Soundcloud or directly on our Patreon page. For the most part, this is actually a pretty good setup. Older episodes become available to the public on Patreon and newer episodes become publicly available via Soundcloud.
While it is a good setup, we wanted to do one better and get our podcast on other platforms. Today, the entire catalogue of our podcast is now available on Spotify. You can listen to our podcast all the way back to our humble beginnings of episode 1 or fast forward to our latest episode: number 21. It’s all there. We’ve also added a button on the right hand side for fast access.
Now, we are aware of the walled garden nature of Spotify, so if you don’t have an account with them, we are working on getting the podcast up on other platforms as well. The hard part of getting these podcasts up on other platforms have already been addressed, so we suspect we’ll start seeing the podcast on other platforms soon.
