Video: The Great AI Scam - How One Industry Fooled So Many for So Long

If there has been one things I’ve been seeing lots of in the world of technology, it’s the story of AI. The problem is that the promoted technology is more science fiction than science fact. Between people getting suckered into putting their hard earned money into “investing” in these companies or freaking people out about some sort of AI Armageddon, a lot of people have been fooled into believing that AI is this magical do everything perfectly technology that is either perfected technology or technology that is on the verge of being perfected.

The problem is that AI today is nowhere near this level of sophistication. In fact, that level will not be achieved any time soon. So, that leaves to merely grifting the populace for all its worth before everything starts to collapse due to the AI bubble popping.

Indeed, the people most commonly believing the AI has long been people who know little to nothing about technology. So, in this video, I showcase how the industry is scamming the populace into believing things that it so clearly is not. As I state in the video, AI can be a tool, not a replacement. Still, I fully expect to see people continue to run up to me and say the hype is real because they saw some gullible mainstream media journalist said so without a shred of evidence outside of the word of the companies themselves.
