Review: Togetha Brotha Soundsystem – 225th Decendant Dub (Reggae) Drew Wilson | November 9, 2015 This review covers the Reggae track Togetha Brotha Soundsystem – 225th Decendant Dub. According to metadata, this track was released in 2004 and was released online for free on the artists official website. One prominent feature of this track that doesn’t often get mentioned around here is the tempo. I thought the slower tempo really helped give this track a laid back and smooth vibe to it. The bassline helped give this track a nice warm feel to it. It also really punctuated the relaxed tone this track gives off. Amidst all of this is quite a collection of different sounds. I thought the number of different sounds really gave this track a nice eclectic accent. While there is a risk of the track sounding confused when so many different sounds are in there – especially with something that has a more minimalistic approach to it, this track makes this sound work quite well. Overall, I thought this track was quite enjoyable. It’s great to listen to when you’ve had a rough day and you just want to relax. This track is definitely a good candidate to relax to in my books. A job well done. Score 7.5/10 Drew Wilson on Twitter: @icecube85 and Google+.
