Review: Sum 41 – Motivation (Punk Rock) Drew Wilson | June 24, 2014 By Drew Wilson This review covers the punk rock track Sum 41 – Motivation This particular track was released as part of the All Killer, No Filler album in 2001. When I listen to this track, what immediately sticks out right away is the rhythm this track generates between the drums and the guitar chords. It is such a distinct and great sound, that it really allows me to feel a sort of playful, yet don’t give a f___ sound even before I get to the lyrics. The lyrics pretty much capped off the overall mood you get from this track. This is especially so when you get to the second verse where you are likely going to feel that inner anarchist let loose in your head. For me, this track is more than capable of reversing a foul mood. It’s a great listen all around.
