Review: Sub Focus – X-Ray (Drum N Bass)

This review covers the Drum N Bass track Sub Focus – X-Ray.

This particular track was released in 2005 and would be released along with the track Scarecrow.

This particular track features prominent electronic melody mixed with rock sound.

This is one of those tracks where there’s a really cool, yet simple melody. The overall sound of the melody changes throughout the track and is broken up by portions with rock sound.

For me, it’s difficult to really pin-point an exact mood, but the overall soundscape was very well done and worth listening to. There’s plenty of subtle elements and effects throughout the track to listen for which makes this track a neat audio journey.

So, overall, this was quite a cool track to listen to.
