Review: Stan SB – Dead (Drum N Bass) Drew Wilson | May 15, 2017 This review covers the drum n bass track Stan SB – Dead. This track was released in 2012 on the EP Anyone Out There online for free. One major part of this track is definitely the vocals. They were very nicely done and the slight vocoding and filtering really added to the overall quality. The lyrics, on the other hand, I’m a little 50/50 on because there are some dark undertones throughout. While dark undertones is fine with me, the juxtaposition to an otherwise upbeat track was a bit of a mismatch. that, however, really was my only complaint about the track. The synth melody that went with the track was pretty good. Can’t really find much to complain about it. The flow was very nicely realized. The track has some good drops and climactic portions. So, that gets a thumbs up from me. Overall, this was a very good track. The overall sound works quite well. The flow was nicely done. The vocals were great. The lyrics might have been a bit of a mismatch for the overall mood, but there was still plenty to like about this track. A thumbs up from me.
