Review: Solarstone – Solarcoaster (Protoculture Remix) (Trance) Drew Wilson | May 9, 2018 This review covers the progressive trance track Solarstone – Solarcoaster (Protoculture Remix). This track was released in 2013 as part of a remix album. One thing that stuck out to me is the effects used in the beginning. They really give this track a more full sound. Shortly after, there is a melody that gives this track a rather mysterious sound to it. It’s a really interesting sound. Then there is the use of the voice sample. While the voice sample is generally fitting for the track, it may be a little bit on the cryptic side of things. The track then gets into the main melody. This melody is very well done. It is very enjoyable. The addition of choir sounds compliments the main melody very nicely. The only thing I thought was really missing is possibly a second build-up to a repeat of the main melody. That would have taken this track really over the top for me. As it is now, the best parts are a bit short lived. Still, this is a great track. It has a nice flow and the main melody is very addicting. So, a great track in my books. Score 8/10 Drew Wilson on Twitter: @icecube85 and Google+.
