Review: Mindtalk – Animate Soul (Drum N Bass) Drew Wilson | May 8, 2017 This review covers the liquid drum n bass track Mindtalk – Animate Soul. This track was released in 2012 for free streaming. This track starts off decent, though the piano elements really kicked this track into gear. The piano elements really gave this an uplifting sound that was quite enjoyable. This was especially pronounced after the first drop. While this track was already well done, the addition of the electric guitar turned a good track into a great track. The guitar just added a nice amount of dimension. The added synth melody was a very nice way to cap off the overall soundscape, cementing how great the track was. The overall flow of this track was great – especially the way the three different melody types just interchange so flawlessly. Overall, this was definitely a great track. The flow, the piano, the electric guitar, and even the synth melodies all worked well together in a nice harmony. The uplifting sound worked very well in this case. A recommended track.
