Review: Michael Brun & DubVision Feat. Tom Cane – Sun in Your Eyes (House) Drew Wilson | February 22, 2017 This review covers the progressive house track Michael Brun & DubVision Feat. Tom Cane – Sun in Your Eyes. This track was released in 2015 as a single. A major component of the track is definitely the vocals. Arguably, this is probably the best part of the whole track. Probably the best part of the track was during the breakdowns when it was a vocal solo. The lyrics were interesting as it basically touches on how you travel through life blind. An interesting concept the way the lyrics articulated this concept. This track also features a melody. While it often doesn’t share the same parts as the vocal portions, it was there. While it does seem to act as a sort of audio counter-weight to the vocals, it wasn’t the strongest part of the track. It was decent, but was a little on the repetitive side. It did serve it’s purpose nevertheless, but it could have turned this pretty good track into a great track. Unfortunate that it didn’t quite get there. Still, this wasn’t a bad track overall. It was a pretty good track to listen to with pleasant vocals and good flow throughout. I wished the main melody added more musically to the track then it ultimately did. Overall, this track does get a thumbs up from me as it was worth listening to. Score 7/10 Drew Wilson on Twitter: @icecube85 and Google+.
