Review: Maor Levi – Shapes (Oliver Smith Remix) (Progressive Trance)

By Drew Wilson

This review covers the progressive trance track Maor Levi – Shapes (Oliver Smith Remix).

This particular track was released in 2007.

One thing that is really distinct is the chopped vocals. While there’s hardly anything that could be intelligible, the overall sound was really neat. Mixed in with this is the overall evolving and length melody that wafts throughout this track. I felt that the melody was really done and really helped carry a track that already has some neat elements in it as it is.

The overall feeling of this track is general emotional uplift. It can really turn a bad day good for me. So, it’s a very strong mood setter.

In general, this was an excellent track. I really thoroughly enjoyed it. As a result, it get’s extremely high marks from me.

Score

9/10
