Review: John O’Callaghan Feat. Sarah Howells – Find Yourself (Original Mix)(Progressive Trance) Drew Wilson | June 17, 2014 By Drew Wilson This review covers the vocal progressive trance track John O’Callaghan Feat. Sarah Howells – Find Yourself (Original Mix). This track was released in 2009 and was released with a Cosmic Gate remix. This particular track has a sort of rogue feeling with subtle elements of rock thrown in. What’s really good about this track is that there’s a nice amount of evolution found throughout the track. There’s a certain amount of this track that changes how a trance track should sound. Normally, there’s an intro, breakdown, build-up, the main part of the track, then an outro. This track contains it’s fair share of dialing it up and dialing it back in ways not necessarily consistent with a standard track tune. As a result, I think this track really stands out well on it’s own and offers a nice change of pace. The vocals are really well done. There’s a certain natural feel to the vocals. It isn’t overly processed or vocoded. There’s just the right amount of filtering that allows that natural voice to still come through. Overall, I found this track to be quite enjoyable. I hadn’t heard it in a while and it was like finding an old forgotten gem in the library. So, great track all around.
