This review covers the progressive house track Janji – Heroes Tonight (feat. Johnning).
This track was released in 2015 online for free.
The main element in this track is definitely the vocals which would be good on their own, but the way it was backed by the other elements, makes this track work quite well.
The main melody works incredibly well. It evolves somewhat in sound, though not necessarily in notes by much. I thought this worked very well to make this sound like a great track.
One minor complaint I do have with this track is the over-utilization of silence. While brief bursts of silence do add a nice dynamic element, this track uses it a bit too excessively for my taste.
Even then, I think this is a great track overall. With good vocals backed by great melody, this track is great overall and definitely recommended.
