Review: Foo Fighters – Learn to Fly (Rock) Drew Wilson | June 12, 2017 This review covers the rock track Foo Fighters – Learn to Fly. This track was released in 1999 on the album Nothing Is Left to Lose. A major component is definitely the guitars. They give this track a sort of refreshing and care free sound to this track. This was also probably the biggest bright spot here. The vocals are pretty good. There is some variety in the overall sound throughout the track. The downside is that some of the lyrics were a bit garbled and lost in translation. So, they were OK overall. One positive in this track is that both the way it starts and the way it ends was actually nicely done. The start gives this track presence and sets up the listener to expecting what the overall sound will be while the end wraps the sound up nicely. Overall, this was a pretty decent track. It has good guitars, starts nicely, and ends well. The vocals do garble the lyrics somewhat at times, but otherwise were decent. A decent track overall.
