Review: Ferry Corsten – Junk (Flashover Remix) (Trance)

This review covers the trance track Ferry Corsten – Junk (Flashover Remix).

This track was released in 2006 along with two other versions.

This track isn’t immediately apparently trance when you start in, but the trance elements do gradually come in. It also has a more dirty edge to it and isn’t exactly like a lot of the more uplifting tracks that have been reviewed here in the past. So, it’s a little different.

One of the prominent elements of this track is the rap-like vocals. The vocals have a processed sound that give it them an interesting sound. The vocals are also warped in many ways which gives this track that element of creativity.

The overall melody gives this track a hint of hard trance. A lot of elements in this track also bring in some sense of electro house as well.

Generally speaking, I thought that this track gave me a unique, yet great listening experience. The overall sound works very well and works to make this a great track overall.

8/10
