Review: Ephemerid – Seraph (Ambient) Drew Wilson | October 24, 2016 This review covers the ambient track Ephemerid – Seraph. This track was released on the album Icarus Wings. While the album was re-released in 2014, it was originally released in 2004 as that other track would indicate. In any case, it is currently available as free streaming. The track opens with some traditional instruments that really says India. The way the instruments were played were fairly well done. A good element in this is the drum kit that was used. Almost all of the bass was taken out of the snares and kicks. This really kept this track well into the realm of ambient while still keeping an interesting beat. The synth effects and voice samples did add a lot of quality to the overall track. Generally speaking, if you’re looking for something that is ambient and has a fair amount of exotic sounds, you could do a whole lot worse than this track. A good listen.
