Review: Dan Stone – Fahrenheit (Original Mix)

This review covers the progressive trance track Dan Stone – Fahrenheit (Original Mix).

This track was released in 2009 and was released along with a remix.

One great element was the background pads throughout the track. They did a great job at making this track a very uplifting track.

The main melody that was played as both a synth and, more predominantly, a piano, was pretty decent. It was nice, though bit too simple for my tastes.

The secondary melody was pretty good. While a bit more complex, it didn’t take as much presence in the track.

The chord synth helped make this a nice listen.

Generally speaking, this was a nice and pleasant listen. I liked the uplifting elements found in the pads and the piano was a good call in this case. If that melody had something more in terms of complexity, I might have called this a great track. As it stands now, though, this track was nice, but not amazing. Don’t get me wrong, it is definitely worth listening to, but I think I’ll find myself gradually gravitating towards other tracks after a while. A pretty good one.

Score
7/10
