Review: Brothers in Rhythm – Such a Good Feeling (House)

This review covers the house track Brothers in Rhythm – Such a Good Feeling.

This track was released in 1991 as part of a single.

The track starts with a high hat and a piano element. The kick comes in as the bongos do as well. From there, the synth string builds the track up.

The track then breaks down somewhat and the vocals come in. These vocals start the track off with a verse before they carry the track into the main chorus. This is capped off with an instrumental section.

In the next section the vocals pick things up with the next verse. The vocals then carry the track into the next main chorus. From there, a piano solo comes in. This ends with some orchestral hits as well as a whistle element.

At this point, the vocals take the track into the next verse. This section is capped off with another instrumental section which is a bit more brief. After this, the track goes into the main chorus again. This is capped off with an instrumental section which fades out.

One thing I really do like about this track is the positive vibes throughout the track. The piano and synth string elements really bring this vibe forward.

The vocals are quite nicely done. They add a nice bit of variety and power to the track without being overbearing at the same time. I really like them.

Meanwhile, the strings and piano both add a lot of great sound to the track. They are there when they need to be and they duck out when they really aren’t. The quantity really hits a sort of Goldilocks zone of not too much and not too little.

Overall, this is a very good track. I enjoy the upbeat sound with the strings and the piano. The vocals are nicely done and the overall flow is great. A track that gets a thumbs up from me.
