This review covers the rock track Bon Jovi – Keep the Faith.
This track was released in 1992 on the album Keep the Faith.
The track starts off with some slow guitars backed with a subtle synth. From there, a bass guitar comes in followed shortly by piano and a drum kit. The vocals then come in shortly after.
After this, the vocals take the track into the main chorus. This chorus also has an emphasized section on the latter portion. This is capped off with a brief instrumental section.
From there, the vocals go into the next verse. This is capped off with the main chorus. This section is then capped off with a drum solo. After that, there is a guitar solo.
When the solo ends, a subtle vocal comes in for the next verse. This verse contains another less subtle section. After that, the vocals take the track into the next verse. This main chorus adds some backup vocals. The guitars take things to another level, but the track then starts fading away.
One strength this track does have is a nicely done main chorus. Not only d the vocals make this distinct, but the guitars and other elements really make this section of the track stand out.
Another positive this track has is the variances in not only the main chorus, but also the verses. These variances help keep the track fresh from beginning to end.
The only real downside is that this track somehow ends up being one of those tracks that catches my attention. Unfortunately, it doesn’t quite reach that level of greatness that makes this a highly memorable one.
Still, this is a pretty solid track. It is definitely worth a listen in my view. It’s got some good vocals and interesting elements that vary from beginning to end. So, an overall solid track.
