Review: Bon Jovi – It’s My Life (Rock)

By Drew Wilson

This review covers the rock track Bon Jovi – It’s My Life.

This particular track was released in 2000 on the album Crush.

This is one of those interesting uplifting rock tracks that even includes an interesting little vocoding with the electric guitar.

I think the emotion was this tracks strongest points, though the vocals and the instrumentation are not far behind – which is pretty most of the rest of the song actually. The lyrics were also very well done.

I found that some people simply scoff at the artist whenever he is mentioned. I’m not entirely sure why, but it may have had something to do with the amount of radio play he had back in the early 2000s. I don’t listen to a whole lot of his stuff, but this was a good classic to go back to for me personally.

With good audio balancing, great emotion and a few interesting twists, I would definitely recommend this track. Excellent for putting my in a better mood for sure.

9/10
