This review covers the drum n bass track Apex Feat. Ayah – Space Between.
This track was released in 2007 on the compilation album Weapons of Mass Creation 3.
The immediate thing that hits me in this track is the vocals. I thought that the vocals really helped to give this track a nice distinct sound. The lyrics seem to be talking about interpersonal differences which I thought was interesting too.
There are also melodies in this track, though they are more subtle elements of this track. The bassline is much more prominent in this track. In this track, I didn’t see much wrong with that.
Overall, I thought this track was great. It had great levels, interesting vocals, lyrics, and bassline. Definitely worth listening to in my opinion.
